Introduction to the Professional Degree of Master of Pharmacy
The professional degree of master of pharmacy aims to train high-level application-oriented professionals who master the professional knowledge of pharmacy and related disciplines, have high professional quality, strong technical innovation ability and ability to solve practical problems, and can creatively engage in practical work in the application fields of pharmaceutical technology transformation, clinical use, supervision, production and circulation, etc.
In order to meet the urgent needs of the pharmaceutical industry in Hubei Province, improve the pharmaceutical personnel training system, innovate the pharmaceutical personnel training mode, and improve the quality of pharmaceutical personnel training, the master's degree program of the first level discipline of pharmacy in our university is developed on the basis of the original academic master's program of the second level discipline of pharmacology. With undergraduate education as the main body and postgraduate education as the focus, a pharmaceutical education system with clear educational level and reasonable educational structure have been established, which is an important base for training senior pharmaceutical talents in Hubei Province. At present, there are 8 undergraduate majors related to the master's degree of pharmacy, 4 first level academic master's degree granting rights and 1 first level professional master's degree granting rights, and 9 second level academic master's degree granting rights.
