Research Interests
My primary research interest is in the preparation of novel photo-catalystsunder visible light, which is a promising field no matter in the selectivelyremoval of specific organics in water or air or in organic synthesis. I amexperiencedin both synthesis and characterization of metal oxides as catalysts, also inthe research of the degradation mechanism of certain pollutant organics, likemicrocystins and hexachlorobenzene. Wehave a number of characterizationand analytical instruments such as BET, Zeta-Potential, luminescencespectrometer, FTIR, HPLC, IC and GC. My research background should be suitablefor the incoming study in photocatalysis.
