Personal Profile:
My research expertise lies in natural medicinal chemistry, specializing in the discovery of bioactive lead compounds from endophytic fungi around the Shennongjia region. Through systematic investigation of microbial metabolites, I have achieved breakthroughs in identifying and structurally optimizing lead compounds demonstrating antimalarial, pro-angiogenic, anticancer, and antimicrobial potentials.
My scholarly contributions include:
· Publication of 12 SCI-indexed articles in Q1/Q2 journals including Bioorganic Chemistry, Communications Chemistry, and European Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, serving as first/corresponding author.
· Leadership of three competitive research grants:
• National Natural Science Foundation of China (82003621)
• Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation (2019CFB329)
• Open Fund Project of Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory (2024NPRD09)
Teaching Experience:
I teach the "Natural Medicinal Chemistry" and "Medicinal Chemistry" courses to undergraduates, international students, and postgraduates.
